What does a Meaningful Connection look like?
How do we even do this in our Community?

Oh, yes! I’m your TD Insider.
This time I’m here to open up some secrets around building meaningful connections…
Okay, I can hear your mindvoice. Meaningful connections, huh? How do we even differentiate a connection from a meaningful one, bro?
It’s simple. A LinkedIn connection or a contact number is just a connection. But a meaningful connection is when that person plays a real role in your life—maybe they become your mentor, your well-wisher, your pioneer, or even your tea-time friend.
They add value to your journey, and most importantly, they give meaning to the connection itself. It’s not just about the name in your contact list; it’s about how they influence you and make your life a bit better. 💡
Right, moving on to the Network part...
Again, I can catch your mindvoice: 'LinkedOut dhan nadathalaiye…'
Apo, ‘Neenga inum move on aagalaiya daa..’ But jokes apart, is LinkedOut the only way to network? It’s just another way of facilitating connections, but it’s certainly not the only way.
And here’s how network is build in our community, subtly:
New Members
A big welcome to 8 fresh faces who joined our journey this month! This means fresh energy, new perspectives, and more people to network with!!
Don’t forget to say hi, share your story, and help them settle into the community.
Btw, Just a heads up: Head to the forums if you haven't already! We have a community-specific space that works like a directory—perfect for introducing yourself, exploring people related to your interests, and connecting with others who share similar goals.
Start by posting a short intro and search for keywords that resonate with your current projects or passions to find a person with similar interests. 🫣
Community Gathering Recap
After what felt like an eternity, we finally met up in person for an unforgettable Community Gathering!
A Big thanks to Adesh for turning that evening into a mini festival with his movie screening 🎥 — It was such a fun, with the projector + wall.
A selfie from our Offline Movie Screening
No doubt, Adesh deserves an Oscar or at least a "Best Organizer" mug! 🏆 Andd…We’ve got more good times coming your way!
So, now are you ready to kickstart building your network?
— Let’s connect with 5 people we’ve never spoken to before in the community!
Yep, 5 new people. Reach out, introduce yourself, and start a conversation. Maybe ask them about their goals, hobbies, or even just how their day is going.
You never know, you might find someone who shares the same interests, and who knows, you could team up for something big!
And here’s a special secret for you to complete this
Ask for advice, not favors.
Instead of jumping straight into asking for something, try getting to know from them, as an advice or their opinion on something.
People love sharing their knowledge and expertise, and it’s a great way to start a meaningful conversation. You might be surprised at how much you learn and how strong your network becomes by simply seeking advice!
As you connect with them, try to gather sometime over a weekend at a common spot and exchange your stories, thoughts and ideas. If you need help with this, reply to me here! I’m up for your help!
